New Features

Minor Fixes

  • Fixes a bug with multi-user control that didn't allow you to choose the "Control all devices" checkbox
  • Fixes a bug when being unable to connect to the server after changing to "Run as a service"
  • Masks the email password
  • Test Email button no longer locks up the GUI during the test
  • Fixes for some scene condition failures (if you suspect you have a problem, open all your conditions and re-save)

  • Multi-user support: This provides the ability to control which devices are visible from each of your smart-phones. This requires the custom Multi-User Security plugin.

Version 3.25

New Features

  • The Aeon Labs Key Fob can now be used to activate InControl scenes. Details.
  • Devices that "appear offline" (fail to respond after 10 polls) will be automatically be turned to level 0/off. A notification will also appear on the icon within your InControl server. 
  • Scenes can be enabled or disabled. Disabled scenes that have triggers will not function until re-enabled.
  • Scenes can be hidden from mobile devices

New Features

  • New Scene Trigger & Conditions - Replaces rules interface
  • Weather Device: This can be used to trigger scenes. Shut off your sprinklers when it's raining; shut off heat when the forcast high is above 60. Be sure to setup your location in tools/options.
  • New Clear Alerts to easily clear all alerts
  • Energy Tracking for Aeon Labs Home Energy Monitor (HEM). Be sure to set it up as an Energy Monitor
  • InControl window placement and size is remembered 
  • Device list takes up slightly less room
  • Optionally hide devices from mobile InControl app (double click device)
  • "No Change" added to scene device advanced option. When checked, no change will happen to device when scene is activated.
  • New EmailSceneStatusReport script. This script, when activated as part of a scene, will email a status report of all devices in the scene. Be sure to check the "No Change" option for each device to prevent the scene from changing the value.
